New Year New Hyperfixation
Life has been throwing it's curve-balls as per usually so I've been stuck trying to cope with it all and a lot of my original coping mechanisms aren't helping at the moment. I decided to look to the mobile game market to get myself to still do something even if it's just a silly mobile game.
I landed on a game called Township. I liked the farming but wasn't a huge fan of the city building so I moved over to Hay Day. Hay Day I'm heavily enjoying and I joined a really friendly Neighborhood (Guild) that isn't intense. I saw a few ads on the Facebook group for different Neighborhoods and they were very strict about activity while I was just looking for something casual.
Along with Hay Day I also got Farmington, Royal Farm, and newly today Family Farm Seaside. They're all generally the same just with different art-styles but it's been nice for when one game has long plant growth times and I just switch to the other to keep playing. I'm still looking at more farming games but the first three I've mostly settled on.
I also decided to grab Bluestacks (an Android Emulator for PC) so I can play the games on both my phone and laptop which has been really nice. I don't need to switch games as often on my phone because I can have two loaded at the same time! Though I won't be doing this often because there's some actual PC games I also want to be playing. Having the farm games on my phone though is a nice buffer when loading into things on the computer.
So far my most decorated farm is the one on Royal Farm because it requires decoration points for more farm plots. Farmington also requires decoration points but I have an okay amount of farming space for where I'm at right now so I'm working on getting an over abundance of supplies. Hay Day decorations are expensive, at the current point I'm at, so I know it's going to take me a bit before I touch properly decorating on there but I think it still looks pretty good other than the empty spaces. Family Farm Seaside I haven't begun decorating on, since I barely started playing it only a few hours ago, I'm still trying to get my bearings and learn the game.
