Digital Wolves
Yesterday while I was adding stuff to my URL Gallery I stumbled upon a website called Hotglue.me. It's similar to Straw.page in the sense of it being a free, easy to use, website builder. It just doesn't seem to be easy to edit your site on mobile unlike Straw.page but that's okay! Anyways I really wanted to try it out just for fun but didn't know what type of site I'd make using this site. I looked at a few of the featured sites and most people tend to use it like fun digital collages with links, which I loved the idea of. So I decided to make a digital wolf collection which is just a collage of various Wolf images, graphics, and memes.
Today after having made this site I went on the hunt to find an old Facebook Flash game I played when I was younger. I don't remember the name of it but involved being a wolf/running a wolf pack. I was trying to at least find images and graphics to put on my wolf collection page. Sadly I couldn't find anything but now I wanted to play something like it. I decided to make a profile on Lorwolf! I was originally weary of it because I was worried about my wolves dying like they do on Wolvden but they don't!
I've already been playing it for several hours and got gifted by a few people on the site. The community seems really sweet or at least those I've seen so far are. The way activities and quests on the site work are reminiscent of that wolf game on Facebook that I was unable to find which was a pleasant surprise. Maybe at some point I will get into giving my wolves lore and personalities because I've seen quite a few people do that already. I had thought about this before having seen other players and named my first two wolves accordingly Stormjaw and Cedarsong.
Right now there is a Halloween event going on which contains cosmetics for your wolves and companions for your wolves. Companions give added buffs and increase different drop chances of different resources while looking great. I've already gotten a few companions both from the event and other sources. I'm trying to match the colors to the best I can to my wolves.
I'm excited to continue playing on this site and hopefully get through the event, but that will be all for today! Thank you for reading. :D
